1. The Venue Owner or Venue Team

What they do

Your venue team are responsible for the venue itself.

This usually includes things like:

• Opening and closing the venue

• Ensuring facilities are clean and safe

• Managing the bar (if provided)

2. Wedding Planner

They're involved months (sometimes years) before your wedding.

• Solving problems before they happen

A planner is perfect if you're busy, planning from overseas or simply don't want the stress.

Some planners finish their work before the wedding day, while others stay until the evening.

3. Day-of Coordinator (or On-the-Day Coordinator)

This is one of the most valuable investments many couples make.

A day-of coordinator doesn't usually plan your wedding from the beginning.

Instead, they step in during the final few weeks.

They'll often:

4. Venue Stylist or Decor Specialist

This is the person responsible for making your vision come to life.

Depending on the company, they might provide:

• Candles

• Chair decorations

• Signage

• Welcome displays

• Ceremony styling

• Backdrops

• Lighting

• Draping

Some also hire furniture and props.

Others simply style items you've already purchased.

Make sure you understand:

• Who owns the décor

• Set-up and collection times

• Damage deposits and what are you reposible for if guests decide to keep the items... (yes, it happens!).

• What's included in the quoted price

• Whether fresh flowers are included

• Who packs everything away afterwards

5. Friends and Family (The Hidden Wedding Team)

Many couples rely on family and friends without realising how much they're asking them to do.

Someone ends up:
